The Brief
- Age UK Richmond provides services for older residents and leads dementia-friendly initiatives across the borough.
- Commissioned to create a narrative-driven film illustrating the lived experience of dementia and how simple things such as greeting a person living with dementia can make a huge difference to their lives.
My Role
- Co-developed message and narrative flow; filmed sensitively in the couple’s home.
- Edited and delivered the final video for web, social and campaign use.
The Impact
- Used as part of AUR’s Dementia Friendly Richmond campaign.
- Praised for emotional depth, dignity, and ability to shift perceptions through real lived experience.
